This FREE 18-hour virtual CERT Training is required for all CERT Team members and for anyone answering the call to join the CERT Team as they play an active role in emergency preparedness in their community.

The CERT program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills: fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, psychological wellness, and disaster medical operations. Classroom training (virtual and in-person) and exercises prepare CERT members to assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.
