This is an workshop put on by Be:Seattle, educating renters how to assert their rights, find solutions to various issues, and and organize for better living conditions. We will discuss how the pandemic is affecting renters and what protections are currently being offered.
- Equality Coalition for Housing and Opportunity (ECHO) creates empathy building and educational programs around homelessness and unemployment in the Puget Sound area’s LGBTQIA+ communities.
- The Cities is a land use education and advocacy organizing collective with quarterly workshops, a slack group and a monthly newsletter.

Followed by a 30-minute LGBTQIA+ renters community conversation hosted by ECHO & Share The Cities.
This Tenant Rights Bootcamp is the first in a 3-part series hosted by ECHO and Share The Cities, to connect LGBTQIA+ renters to education, resources and more importantly, each other. The current and upcoming eviction crisis will uniquely impact queer folks and require an abundance of peer-to-peer education and support.
