Today, we are mourning the destruction of black lives, the loss of life, health and normalcy due to the pandemic, and so many other modern tragedies, big and small. On Tisha B’av, described as the saddest day in the Jewish year, we commemorate the destruction of the Temple and other tragedies in Jewish history. Join us for a meaningful program in which we will connect to one other and to our tradition. We will share stories and discuss contemporary social justice issues in the context of this day of mourning. After shedding light on the destruction that exists in our own world, we can then transition toward resilience and building a more equitable future.
