As we approach the 20th Anniversary of September 11th, having the support of our peers in the 9/11 community is essential to our personal resilience and well-being. Join us virtually, for an interactive presentation and intimate small group conversations with your peers who have a shared experience.
The program will begin with an interactive presentation by Drs. Suzanne Phillips and Madelyn Miller of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. Among the topics to be discussed are ways to cope with the host of emotions in the coming months and ways to prepare for the public and private commemoration of this important milestone. Following the brief presentation, participants will break into small discussion groups facilitated by a clinician, to allow for meaningful conversation. This virtual gathering is open to 9/11 victims’ families, responders, survivors, and families of those who have died of 9/11 related illnesses. The program is free, but registration is required.
