IMNIS - STEM Careers in Industry - Queensland

The Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering invites you to join us for STEM Careers in Industry, a virtual event with the Industry Mentoring Network in STEM (IMNIS).

At this IMNIS event, you can engage with an expert panel of senior-level STEM professionals in industry and learn about their career journeys and key decision points that led to a career in industry, and how they applied their STEM expertise and skills in their industry career.

Our special guest speakers, Dr Peter Kambouris, Dr Tammie Roy and Dr Sue Keay, are senior-level STEM professionals with wide-ranging expertise in different parts of the STEM ecosystem. They will each share their career journey and how they apply their STEM expertise and skills to lead and excel.

IMNIS Program Manager, Scott Cummins, will then lead our experts in an informative discussion on professional and interpersonal skills, the value of a professional network, jobs of the future, the industry sector in Queensland, and top tips for career success.

IMNIS Executive Director, Dr Marguerite Evans-Galea AM, looks forward to welcoming you all online. This event is open to all IMNIS mentors, mentees and alumni, as well as other STEM students, postdoctoral researchers and industry professionals.
