The “Longevity Stick” regime incorporates a series of 12 movements designed to improve balance, flexibility, strength, mental focus, breathing capacity, and vitality.
This activity is a low-impact exercise done while standing, using a long, one-inch diameter dowel (or stick) that reduces the risk of injury while improving circulation and balance.
This meeting is designed for those who would like to try it out for the first time, or those who have participated and would like to become more familiar with the series of movements. The Longevity Stick class takes place each Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday (see schedule below), and new participants are always welcome.
If you want to try the movements, we ask that you wear loose clothing and athletic shoes, and have water handy. An adjustable shower curtain rod or paint roller extension can be used as a substitute for a 1” dowel for this class
