Treasurer Training

Please note you must be present for the entire session to receive credit. Please input your club number and member ID to ensure credit. Both may be found in your profile at https://www.toastmasters.org/

As Treasurer, you are the Club’s record keeper. You are responsible for:
- Preparing and oversee the club budget
- Managing the club bank account if applicable
- Preparing and sending membership dues statements to members by September 1 and March 1
- Collecting and submitting Membership Dues Payments to TI via Club Central (Clubs must have at least 8 paid members to stay active)
- Paying Club bills
- Attending the Club Executive meetings

You accomplish your responsibilities by:
- Keeping clear and accurate records of all club financial transactions
- Receiving and paying Club bills
- Transmitting all records to your successor in office
