How lessons learned from the HIV Epidemic Can Inform Efforts to Address the COVID-19 Pandemic through a Racial Equity Lens

Discuss structural barriers related to HIV prevention and COVID-19 vaccine uptake
Discuss the similarities and differences between the COVID-19 pandemic and HIV epidemic
Address the importance of using a racial equity lens to end both the COVID-19 Pandemic and the HIV Epidemic
Discuss community messages, solutions and best practices to address racial inequities in disenfranchised communities

Facilitator: Abraham Johnson, Community Engagement Officer, Treatment Action Group
Speakers: Greg Millett, Sarit Golub and Kenyon Farrow
