The Black Business Empowerment Commission (BBEC) will feature The "State of Black Business" Town Hall on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 12 pm (EST). The purpose is to hear different perspectives from business leaders and experts around the country. As COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on America, it has been particularly devastating on Black-owned business. Sure, the US government provided the Paycheck Protection Program that did help some Black businesses through this storm. However, many Black-owned businesses - for a litany of reasons - did not benefit at all. This caused many concerns across the Black business world.
On Saturday, the BBEC's Doni Glover will host a town hall to discuss these and other issues as it relates to the future of Black businesses in America. As they say, when America catches a cold, Black America catches the flu.
