Virtual Training-Girl Scout Silver Award Training

Please read this description in its entirety prior to registering a girl for this training.

This Silver Award training is required for any Cadette level girl who wishes to pursue a Girl Scout Silver Award.

Girls should log in 5-10 minutes prior to the training start time. Girls must be prepared to actively participate and stay for the entire 1½-2 hour training. Since this training is interactive, girls will need access to a computer with a microphone, camera and internet access. Girls can view materials to prepare for their training on the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada website at https://www.girlscoutsnv.org/en/about-girl-scouts/our-program/highest-awards/silver-award.html

Please register for the training under the girl's name only. ADULTS SHOULD NOT BE REGISTERED IN THIS TRAINING.

Prerequisites: Cadette level, GSSNV Girl Membership, Completion of 1 Journey at the Cadette level is required before beginning work on the Silver Award.

Caregivers and Troop Leaders are strongly encouraged to attend the “All About the Awards” adult training.

Groups or troops who wish to attend this training should sign up at the same time under each individual girl’s name. Trainings may close when they reach capacity and additional girls may not be added after the training has closed. Please reach out to customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org if you experience difficulty signing up for a training as a group, we may be able to arrange a special session depending on the group size.

Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reserves the right to cancel or change any scheduled trainings due to lack of enrollment or availability of volunteer trainers. Meeting lengths are approximate. Registration for this training may close 3 days prior to the training or when the training has reached capacity.
