In our second session, David Ferris and April Taylor of the Economics & Governance team will share how Highlander is building and supporting solidarity economies in the South. Development team members Mia Willis and Isaac Collins will then discuss how fundraising produces and sustains Highlander's solidarity economy. Finally, Michelle Muri, co-founder of the Community Centric Fundraising movement and development consultant with Freedom Conspiracy, will introduce the movement's principles and practices.

In our third session, Development team members Mia Willis and Isaac Collins will lead a peer-to-peer fundraising workshop which includes tips on making the ask, adapting an elevator pitch to audiences unfamiliar with Highlander, and more. Digital Strategist Emma Cager-Robinson and Communications Specialist Elizabeth Wright will also offer advice on how to promote and discuss Highlander's work on social media.
