A writing workshop is a community of writers who deepen their writing practice by sharing work-in-progress and receiving feedback from the group. Many writers of all levels--from beginners to prize-winning published writers--a part of a writing workshop. If you’re a serious writer who wants to learn from others, join our summer writing workshop. We’ll meet on Fridays for seven sessions to exchange our writing and learn from one another. Workshop size is limited.

PEN/Faulkner is committed to maintaining a workshop environment that is free of discrimination and harassment based on a person’s sex, sexual identity, gender identity, race, age, color, creed, religion, disability, ancestry or national origin, or any other classification protected by state or federal laws. Harassment on the basis of these identities is strictly prohibited. Examples of conduct prohibited by this policy include using racial and ethnic slurs, making offensive references to stereotypes, or making jokes about characteristics protected by law. Any such harassment is prohibited by this policy whether or not the conduct also violates federal or state law. Participants will be immediately removed from the workshop for violating this policy, and will not be permitted to attend future PEN/Faulkner programming.
