City of Fremont Climate Talks Week
Join us for a series of community conversations on key areas of the City's Climate Action Plan (CAP) update. Each conversation will include information on potential climate measures and the road ahead, insights from area experts, and an open discussion format to voice your questions, ideas, and concerns. Energy and Buildings: Renewable Energy, Fossil Fuel Phase Out, Building Electrification, Energy Storage, Energy Efficiency, and Green Construction Design

Land Use and Transportation: Low-Carbon Development, The General Plan, Transit-Oriented Development, Multimodal Transportation, and Electric Vehicles

Materials, Waste, and Food: Embedded Carbon Emissions, Recycling and Composting, Material Reuse, Food Access and Recovery, and Community Agriculture

Water and Nature in the City: Home Water Efficiency and Landscape Use, Climate Change and Water Management, Urban Forestry Master Plan, Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and Carbon Sequestration

Green Business and Market Innovation: Sustainable Business Practices, Commercial Energy Retrofits, Cleantech Innovation, Freight Vehicle Electrification, and Market Opportunities for Climate Action

Participants can join from a personal computer, tablet, or smart phone with an internet connection. Participants will also have the option to join by phone. For those who cannot attend, the sessions will be recorded and posted online at The meeting link and instructions on how to join will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the workshop.
