Decarcerate Texas Webinar: Housing Justice

Texas is a state that relies heavily on punitive measures and COVID-19 has reinforced the need to end this trend of mass criminalization and mass incarceration. It’s time to #DecarcerateTexas! It’s time to ensure that our communities have the #FreedomToThrive!

Over the course of July-November 2020, Local Progress Texas will lead a process to build a #DecarcerateTexas agenda. The process will include a deep-dive webinar series focused on reimagining public safety, education, housing, immigration, and economic justice.
