This is part of a series of borough-specific workshops, which is an opportunity for the public to learn about and engage in key waterfront issues and add their voice to the next NYC Comprehensive Waterfront Plan. This workshop will be hosted via Zoom, an online platform.
This workshop is free and open to all Manhattan stakeholders—residents, community leaders, members of local organizations, and waterfront enthusiasts of all kinds. The focus of this workshop is the waterfront of Community Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 9.
The workshop will kick off with a presentation by DCP to introduce the preliminary issues and goals that the next plan will address. We will then break into small groups so that everyone can share their ideas for the future of the waterfront. We want to hear from you! Which of the goals resonate the most with you? Which ones can we improve them? What is missing?
Please inform the Dept. of City Planning if you need a reasonable accommodation, such as sign language interpretation, to participate in the meeting. Foreign language interpretation will be provided based on available resources. Please email requests to AccessibilityInfo@planning.nyc.gov
