Learn about the key techniques to make the most out of the Given-When-Then format for specifications and tests, and how to avoid the most common problems. This will be a very practical session, exploring the key techniques for capturing examples as living documentation in the Gherkin (Given/When/Then) format for tools such as SpecFlow and Cucumber, aimed at people with a testing, development or product owner role in agile teams. Prior experience with such tools is not necessary, but will be useful.
The first half of the session will be a presentation by Gojko Adzic, author of several books on Specification by Example. The second half will be a facilitated Q&A discussion.
