Degrees When Due Essentials is an accelerated version of Degrees When Due (DWD), a multi-year nationwide completion and equity initiative that has helped more than 190 postsecondary institutions in 23 states increase degree attainment among adults with some college credits but no degree.
As an extension of DWD degree reclamation work, DWD Essentials is designed for institutions who are unable to participate in a full cohort of DWD. DWD Essentials will move institutions quickly through the steps to identify and reengage stopped out students, in time for Fall 2021 student reenrollment. Drawing on institutional insights gathered over nearly a decade, DWD Essentials offers a three-part workshop series, and a wealth of supplemental resources.
Space for DWD Essentials is limited. The registration link will be live until June 16, 2021, or until all spaces are filled.
Register for the entire three-part series below.
*By registering you agree to having read the following statement: DWD Essentials is part of a larger national equity and completion initiative designed to increase degree attainment among the “some college, no degree” population. The initiative’s research agenda seeks to answer questions related to attainment and equity; the impact of degree reclamation strategies; and institutional capacity-building. Through DWD Essentials, no student-level data will be collected. Only aggregate information will be used in the reports related to DWD Essentials; no institutional-level data will be released.
