Social Savvy
Parent Social Workshop

Learn everything your kids don’t want you to know about social media sites and apps in a comfortable place with your friends or colleagues! This workshop is designed to be 1 hour long.

Instead of thinking “not my kid!!” or being afraid of what your teen or tween is doing on their devices, KNOW what they’re doing! In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn enough information about the apps and social media sites they’re using so you can feel in control!

Examples of Topics:
Top apps and social media sites that are hot with teens and tweens currently
• What secret vault apps are and how to find them
• How to watch what your kids are doing online – not stalk them
• Why family contracts for social media and smartphones are important
• How to recognize the signs of cyberbullying and what to do about it
• How to use the same apps your kids are

My bio for “that” portion of my life lol (again, feel free to edit it down):

Kristen Daukas is a seasoned digital and social media marketing executive who is also the mother of 3 teenaged daughters. She has trained countless companies on the proper use of social media and technology and was often approached by parents and other adults who were concerned at the use of apps, sites, and devices that their kids were using. She created the first Parenting Boot Camp more than 8 years ago as a way to give parents a ‘crash course’ on all the new things they were facing when it came to parenting their tweens and teens. From there, she developed the Social Parent Social where she goes to the homes of parents to give them ALL the dirty secrets of the apps their kids are using. She’s jokingly referred to as “every teen and tweens worst nightmare” because of the training she gives parents.

Anyone who parents (or “adults” as we like to say) the digital generation will tell you that more often than not, they are at a loss as to what kids are
