In November, we were challenged by Monique Fletcher to reimagine our communities using trauma-informed practices. In this virtual session with Monique, we will explore how to create safe spaces by developing healing-centered practices and policies using a community schools lens. Join us to discuss how to build trust - both in person and virtually, by upholding the following key principles: pursue equity, build trusting relationships, and foster a positive climate for learning. Participants should come ready to participate, network, and learn.
Monique R. Fletcher is currently working with the National Center for Community Schools at Children’s Aid. As a Client Engagement Associate, she provides training and technical assistance to help build organizational cultures that develop and strengthen systems in order to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in community schools.
