Making Global Goals Local Business: Getting Started
The Global Goals (or Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs) were hailed as a ‘paradigm shift for people and planet’ by former Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon. At the heart of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, they call for economic growth, innovation, circular economies and upgraded infrastructure, as well as providing a path to end extreme poverty, fight inequality, and protect the planet.

Our Getting Started webinar is specifically aimed at businesses that are still developing an understanding of the SDGs, and how they relate to their work.

This 1-hour webinar will discuss:
What the SDGs are, demonstrate why business should be engaged, and present practical guidance on how to get involved. We will also hear from Kirsty Green Mann, Head of Corporate Responsibilty at Burges Salmon. The second half of the webinar will take the form of an open discussion. Please use this opportunity to ask any questions you may have about engaging with the SDGs.

Who should attend?
The Getting Started webinar is aimed towards those businesses at the beginning of their SDG journey, and looking for guidance on where to start.
