WorkUp Queensland (QLD) and National Disability Services (NDS) have partnered on a workforce development project in relation to domestic and family violence experienced by women with disability. WorkUp QLD and NDS invite representatives from disability service organisations to a consultation to share ideas about system or operational needs at the organisational level to support improved practice and culture change in relation to responding to domestic and family violence against women with disability.
We are seeking views on what is needed to enhance the capability of the disability service organisations and the workforce to contribute to violence prevention; recognise the warning signs that a person may be at risk; respond sensitively and appropriately; and refer people to appropriate supports and services.
By registering for this event you are agreeing to aggregate de-identified data being used by Work Up QLD and NDS for the purposes of establishing training requirements for the disability workforce.
