SPEAKERS:

Michael Doucette is a Principal Engineer working in the area of energy efficiency and energy conservation with Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, and Institutional customers of electricity and/or natural gas services from AVANGRID. Mike is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in Connecticut; holds the Lighting Certified (LC) designation from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP); and holds the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation from the Association of Energy Engineers. Mike possesses Master of Science and Master of Business Administration graduate degrees, and he has been an engineer within AVANGRID’s Conservation & Load Management (C&LM) organization for more than 20 years, working in various engineering capacities to evaluate technologies impacting electricity and/or natural gas energy utilization in a wide variety of customer project applications.

Barbara Pellicano is an Energy Efficiency Consultant with Eversource Energy in Connecticut. In that role she facilitates Eversource’s commercial customers’ participation in the company’s energy efficiency programs. Barbara works primarily with Eversource’s retail customers – especially grocers – to uncover the potential for energy savings in their facilities, lower operating costs, and maximize incentives available through the efficiency programs. She is familiar with the proven, most effective energy efficiency measures currently widely utilized by the retail customer segment. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has been in the electric utility industry for over 25 years. She has a wealth of experience as a trusted energy advisor to commercial utility customers.
