Public Spacemap Go Roundtables (English) 5 PM PDT
In order to enhance your experience, Meyer Sound is hosting a series of Spacemap Go roundtables covering the following topics. Throughout each roundtable discussion, Meyer Sound panelists will be available for Q&A.

Session 1 • November 4 • 5 PM PST

What is Spacemap Go? The Spacemap concept and getting started quickly

In this roundtable, we will explain why Spacemap Go is your go‑to spatial sound design and mixing tool. We will explore how to get started quickly, the components of a Spacemap Go system, the concepts of a Spacemap, and provide a general application overview.

Session 2 • November 11 • 5 PM PST

Implementing Spacemap Go into your workflow: System example and saving your work

This session explores building multiple Spacemaps for a simple loudspeaker configuration, plus saving projects and snapshots. Regardless of your system’s size, Spacemap concepts remain the same. Our journey begins after we design and calibrate a simple loudspeaker system.

Session 3 • November 18 • 5 PM PST

Implementing Spacemap Go into your workflow: Subsystems and Offline programming

We will explore implementing Spacemap Go in a medium-sized system with multiple frontal speaker positions, surround speakers, front fills, and side fills. You will learn how to implement subsystems (fill speakers and subwoofers) into the system and how to pre‑program your entire show offline before stepping into the venue.

Session 4 • December 2 • 5 PM PST

Implementing Spacemap Go into your workflow

The first half of this discussion will explore implementing a large-scale Spacemap Go system with multiple GALAXY processors running in Spacemap and Normal Mode. We will discuss system planning, utilizing Milan AVB, and strategies for simple and flexible control.

We will then be joined by Meyer Sound Director, Spatial Sound Steve Ellison and guest artists for an open conversation about the artistic application and creative possibilities of Spacemap Go.
