Yin Yoga is a great counterpoint to more aerobic yoga styles, and suitable for all levels. Through long, sustained poses and focused breath, Yin Yoga affects joints by increasing lubrication and range of motion, and bone density through evenly held weight-bearing. Yin Yoga is mostly on the floor you will probably not even stand up throughout the class. You should bring your mat or a blanket to lie on, two yoga blocks and a blanket to sit on, or to use under your knees in shavasana.
Level I - No experience necessary.
Level II - Previous yoga experience or full range of mobility.
