FOBP Avalanche Awareness Virtual Classroom

FREE virtual avalanche awareness classroom, covering topics such as identifying hazards, observing weather, terrain and snowfall, and self-rescue. This class is a perfect introduction for novices and a great early season refresher for more experienced backcountry travelers.

-This class is open to the public and FREE of charge.
-Registration below is REQUIRED.
-Please cancel your registration if you cannot attend, as capacity is limited.
-Please join the Zoom event using a computer or large tablet, NOT a phone, to ensure that you can adequately see the presentation.
-Plan on joining a few minutes before the posted time, as we will begin promptly at the scheduled time. The presentation will last about 2.5 hours.
-It will be helpful to have a smartphone accessible to participate in additional interactive features.
