CBS Alum: EXPECTATIONS OF THE BIDEN PRESIDENCY - DISCUSSION WITH EXPERTS AT SIGNUM GLOBAL

After a brief intro from the expert panellists ( Lew Lukens, who will share thoughts on the Biden Cabinet & domestic policy, and Andrew Bishop, who will share a foreign policy view of US in context of EU, UK and Russia as well as COVID-19 multi-lateral coordination), Angela Paulk (CBS’10) will moderate a brief discussion, followed by audience Q&A .

Lew Lukens is Sr Partner in London for Signum. Prior to advisory work, Lukens served 30years as a US Foreign Service officer, representing the US overseas across 5 administrations and 5 continents. Among his many assignments, Lew served as US Ambassador to Senegal and Guinea-Bissau, Deputy Executive Secretary for Secretary Hillary Clinton, Sr Director at the National Security Council working for Dr. Condoleezza Rice and President Bush, and US Consul General in Vancouver. Most recently, Lew was the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in London. Lew also worked in Baghdad, Dublin, Sydney, Abidjan, and Guangzhou, as well as multiple tours in Washington. At the National Security Council, he helped to coordinate the US government response to the 9/11 terror attacks.

Andrew Bishop is a Partner and global head of policy research at Signum. He is a political analyst with an established track record of advising institutional investors, corporates and governments on political risks in developed, emerging, and frontier markets. He is also head of Signum’s D.C. office. Andrew joined Signum from Eurasia Group where he served as Deputy Head of Research and was also a Director in and was also a Director in the firm’s Global Macro practice. Prior to that, Andrew was a senior manager in the WEF’s strategic foresight & risk analysis unit. He is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and actively participates in the Munich Security Conference leadership program.
