Consider this! YOUR life, the one you are living right now, is the "family history" of future generations. Believe it or not, your great-great-great-grandchildren will one day find your life fascinating – only IF you leave a record of it. But when it comes to leaving a legacy of your life stories – in the words of Dr. Seuss, "Short is better than length!" Why? Most importantly, short life story writing compels you to narrow down the most interesting and most important aspects of your life. Also: 1) People are more likely to read a shorter text; 2) It's much easier to write or record a series of short stories than a comprehensive chronological account; 3) Short stories are easy to upload on blogs, family history websites, and social media accounts. In this session we will show you: 1) How to choose your *best* stories; 2) What kind of detail to include – and exclude; 3) How to record your stories on audio/video if you don't want to write; 4) How to upload and share your short stories online so that they will be available now and in the future.
