Combatting, Understanding, and Detecting Human Trafficking: The Power of Essential Partnerships
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. To raise awareness, please join us at Soup with Substance for a conversation with cross-sector partners about the ongoing challenges facing society in confronting the horrific crime of human trafficking. This conversation is part of Marquette’s commitment to address sexual violence, educate our community on how to prevent it, and to share resources available to those impacted by sexual assault.
The panel, moderated by John Byrne (MU ’78), consists of experts who will describe the crime, how it utilizes financial activity, and how law enforcement, financial institutions, and not-for-profit organizations can work together. There will also be “takeaways” about how the MU community can be part of the solution.

Please wear teal to show your support for survivors of sexual violence.
