Faith and a Sustainable Economy for Middle America
Evangelical Environmental Network and In Solidarity present: Faith and a Sustainable Economy for Middle America.

We believe God is calling us to protect human life and health by reducing pollution and protecting workers and the economy. Panelists will discuss the intersection of faith and the obligation to defend creation.

“God asks us to dare to create something new. We cannot return to the false securities of the political and economic systems we had before the crisis. We need economies that give to all access to the fruits of creation.”
(From Let Us Dream, with Austen Ivereigh)

The Panel:
Rev. Mitch Hescox, CEO of Evangelical Environmental Network, Moderator
Dr. Jessica Moerman, Senior Director for Science and Policy, Evangelical Environmental Network
Bishop John Stowe OFM Conv., Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Lexington, KY
Rev. Dr. Walter Kim, President of National Association of Evangelicals
Sr. Anne McCarthy OSB, coordinator of Benedictines for Peace

The event will begin with a moderated conversation and conclude with Q+A time with the press and participants.
