Seeing Ourselves in the Stories We Tell: Federation's Lion of Judah Spring Event
The themes of anti-immigrant discrimination, anti-Asian racism and the denial of labor rights are central to the American political conversation today. These issues have been debated for over a century, and throughout, American Jewish women have played a leading role in pushing for sweeping reform that protected the dignity of marginalized and oppressed groups. Today, Jewish women once again have the responsibility and opportunity to define their place in leading for change. By looking to our past, perhaps we can chart a path forward in which Jewish women rediscover their central role in pushing for a more just society.

Join us to hear from Dr. Rachel Schreiber, Executive Dean of Parsons School of Design at The New School, about how her Jewish identity, commitment to social justice, storytelling, and art have woven together to give voice to the those who are often invisible in our communities and to build social movements.
