Recruitment and retention strategies for underrepresented populations and adults with arthritis in behavioral interventions

Dr. Christine Pellegrini will present the results of a scoping review on effective strategies for recruiting and retaining underrepresented populations and populations with arthritis in physical activity and chronic disease self-management programs.

Christine Pellegrini, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Exercise Science as well as in the Technology Center to Promote Healthy Lifestyles in the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. Her research focuses on the development and implementation of technology-supported behavioral interventions particularly for adults with arthritis and knee replacement.
