The latest Darwin Core Public Review: Summary, next steps and your questions
Chair:John Wieczorek, Support: Steve Baskauf, Rich Pyle
One important step of TDWG's standard developmental process is the public review. During a 30-day period, the community is asked to review proposals of changes or enhancements to a standard. For Darwin Core, usually two public reviews are scheduled per year to cover the collected issues and proposals. In this session we will focus on the last public review of 40 proposals and present the next steps for the various issues according to review results. After a presentation of the results, this session will provide space for questions and discussion on the last process and modifications or enhancements under review. This session is a co-production by the Darwin Core Hour and TDWG Outreach & Communication sub-committee.
This is the first session of the Seminar Series: Darwin Core - a community developed standard with challenges and opportunities in the framework of Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG).
