GROWING SUSTAINABLY - CHAT OVER TEA

There was a time in Ireland when growing your own food was a way of life. A few generations on, much of this knowledge has been lost. Many people now lack the confidence to sow seeds and care for plants as they grow. We have become disconnected from nature. As children, we didn’t receive an education on how to sustainably grow our own food but it’s never too late to learn.

Growing your own food does not only nourish your physical self but it also nourishes your wellbeing. Building your own confidence with growing will enable you to provide this education to your pupils and students. It has never been more important to connect our children with nature and show them how to grow their own food.
