WorkUp Queensland (QLD) and National Disability Services (NDS) have partnered on a workforce development project in relation to domestic and family violence experienced by women with disability. WorkUp QLD and NDS invite disability service organisations, who provide services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, to participate in a Knowledge Circle consultation.
We are seeking your views on what training, skilling and resources are needed to enhance the capability of the disability workforce to contribute to violence prevention; recognise the warning signs that a person may be at risk; respond sensitively and appropriately; and refer people to appropriate supports and services.
By registering for this event you are agreeing to aggregate de-identified data being used by Work Up QLD and NDS for the purposes of establishing training requirements for the disability workforce. If you would like further information on how NDS collects and uses personal information, please go to our website https://www.nds.org.au/privacy-policy
