Session Description: Biology is the study of living things and their relationships with the non-living world. This course focuses on topics in cell biology, heredity, change-over-time and the relationship of organisms to their environment. Biology draws on concepts from chemistry, math, and physics and as such topics from these subjects may also be discussed through the lens of biology. Students will further explore the subject matter through the application of the scientific method and problem solving strategies.

About the Facilitator: Hi, my name is Ehab Bahrun and I am from Southern California. I attended UCLA and graduated in 2018 prior to entering medical school at Georgetown. I chose to teach the General Science course because I have a strong passion for education and I love the sciences. In my free time I enjoy working out, playing basketball, and hanging out with friends and family.
Note: A Dream Academy staff member will be present on all zoom sessions and all sessions will be recorded. Participants are asked to find a quiet location when logging on to avoid background noises disrupting the session.
