Join us on Thursday, March 4 2021 to learn, brainstorm and discuss innovative ideas for local food in Brandon.
This event is open to all. We would like to invite those working in community serving sectors, food lovers, gardeners of all kinds, food harvesters and food sharers. Those who want to get connected with like minded community members, those who want to get involved in the work and those who want to learn more.
Topics will be focused around 5 themes: Food Growing, Community Gardens, Food Mapping, Food Harvesting and Rood Raising. We'll hear from folks working in those areas and then join breakout rooms to discuss ideas and next steps.
When you register, please select your top 3 choices for the discussion you would like to join. You will only be able to attend one breakout room that will be pre-selected and we will do our best to get you into your top selection.
It is our hope that this event will continue the conversation about food in our community, inspire innovative action and strengthen our vision.
