Reducing access to lethal means, such as firearms and medication, can determine whether a person at risk for suicide lives or dies. This program focuses on how to identify people who could benefit from lethal means counseling, ask about their access to lethal methods, and work with them and their families to reduce access. This class is an evidence-based practice designed for crisis responders, and health, and mental health professionals. A 15 minute break is included.
A certificate of attendance is available for this class and will be sent after you fill out the evaluation.
