Our next listening space will provide an opportunity to explore our lessons and insights on self-care, mental health and wellbeing from lockdown. What new habits have we developed? And what struggles have we faced? Let's share our stories and experiences to explore how we can move forward into a new future with more sustainable wellbeing.
This gathering will offer you an opportunity to practice the art of listening and speaking from the heart. By bearing witness to our personal and collective voices we can find a source of empowerment and support.
This will be an open and welcoming space, so it doesn't matter if you've been to many listening spaces or if this will be your first one - either way you'll be supported to feel right at home.
This listening space will be co-hosted by Kareem from The Heart Movement and Flo from Network of Wellbeing
Please do register ASAP though, as spaces are limited!
A Listening Space is sometimes referred to as ‘Brave Space’. Listening to others' difficulties and joys and/or sharing our own may touch on our vulnerabilities. This can be very supportive and healing, and it can also be challenging. We invite you to share only what feels ok to share - for you and others in the group - and to not to push yourself too far emotionally. If you are holding very heavy issues or trauma we encourage you to make contact with dedicated mental health support. It’s important to know that a Listening Space is not therapy and the facilitators are not acting as therapists in holding the space.
By reading this statement and registering, you confirm you understand your own responsibility for your mental and emotional health when joining us.
