Chateau Montelena and Chateau Mongravey

If you are a Wine Geek like we are or like historical movies you will most likely remember the “Judgment of Parris”. In the spirit of that movie this week we are doing a “Judgment of Complexity” by comparing two great Cabernets. Chateau Mongravey Margaux, from France and Chateau Montelena from Napa Valley.

YES! We said Chateau Montelena, the very same winery that was in the movie “Bottle Shock” whose 1976 Chardonnay won the Judgement of Paris and put Napa Valley on the world wine map. Come have some fun with us wine geeks and taste/compare wine from a vineyard that had a major impact on California wine as we know it today.
