Get Calm & Connected: Mindful Families
Please join us for an interactive workshop on how to bring mindfulness into your home. You will learn practices to help with the challenges of parenting and valuable techniques to implement into your family's daily life.

Mindful Parenting can help parents manage stress, better care for their own well-being, and nurture the parent-child connection.

Facilitated by JFS therapists Wendy Anderson and Lauren Glass.

Wendy is a licensed clinical social worker at JFS. Her focus is primarily with children and families, with an emphasis on family systems, cognitive-behavioral and play therapy approaches.  In all of these, she strives to help people learn how to help themselves.

Lauren Glass is a licensed clinical social worker at JFS. In addition, she is certified as a yoga instructor and in plant-based nutrition. She gravitates towards cognitive behavioral therapy & solution-focused therapy in her work with clients. Her favorite techniques to use involve breathing, mindful movement & other short meditative practices that clients can freely access whenever they need to no matter where they may go.
