Evidence-based Programming for Latinos with Arthritis | Current Findings and Next Steps
This presentation will highlight findings from a recent study to help determine how and why community organizations identify, adopt, disseminate and sustain evidence-based programs for Latinos with Arthritis.

Several evidence-based programs have emerged to support increased physical activity among those with arthritis, including Walk With Ease (WWE), a 6-week self-directed walking and behavior change intervention. WWE has been translated into Spanish, Camine con Gusto (CCG); however, few organizations have adopted and disseminated CCG to their Spanish-speaking community members. Guided by the Diffusion of Innovations Theory (DIF), the purpose of this study was to learn more. In addition to a summary of this study and the findings, we will also share new OA education tools and resources that are now available in Spanish, including the recently launched online CCG portal.
