Intro to the Wild Outdoors: Virtual!
Did 2020 encourage you to feel more comfortable outdoors? Do you want to explore new places but don’t know where to start? Join New Jersey Audubon’s Lorrimer Sanctuary Director Kirsten Holt as we discuss outdoor ethics, survival basics, and how to prepare for your adventures. From finding new ways to enjoy your yard to hiking on the Appalachian Trail—we will work on building your environmental well-being.

Kirsten Holt is the Director of New Jersey Audubon’s Lorrimer Sanctuary. She has 10+ years of environmental education experience in New Jersey, with two years of formal education mixed in. Kirsten is an avid outdoors-woman who is often found hiking, paddling, climbing trees, following fireflies and sharing her passions with friends and family. She looks forward to inspiring environmental awareness and a conservation ethic among others.

Live viewers will be able to share comments, ask questions, and participate in real time. Please share your video and follow along to make this a true interactive experience!
