Online Service: Where are our Parables? Favorite Fables for Non-Believers
Almost all religions convey information and beliefs through the telling of stories. Humans have used stories to communicate since well before the written word, stories help us understand our world and one another better, and some studies have shown greater empathy in subjects who read novels than in those who do not. Are there any great narrative fictional or biographical stories about non-believers or which demonstrate the values or principles of secular humanism?

After the talk we'll have a group discussion about it, and whatever else comes to mind.
