Join MENTOR Virginia for part 7 of our virtual workshop series on the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring (EEP). We will be diving into best practices for providing closure to mentors and mentees, along with why closure is critically important. Participants will learn about providing closure training to participants and strategies for facilitating healthy closure. This workshop will be interactive, and will provide participants with take-away resources and tools.
The EEP Workshop Series is being offered in 8 sessions over the course of 6 months with the goal of providing program practitioners with the foundational knowledge of youth mentoring best practices needed to design, implement, and evaluate effective programs. Attendance at all 8 sessions is required to earn the series certificate. Register for the other workshops in this series here: https://mentorva.org/eep-workshop-series/
We plan to offer a recording of this session to registrants, but strongly encourage participation in the live workshop.
