Virtual Tour - Women in the Wickham House

On this tour, a Valentine guide will lead you in real time through the Wickham House as you explore the fascinating stories of the women who inhabited the historic home during the 19th century. While the Wickham House is currently closed to the public, you’ll experience a behind-the-scenes view of the museum’s collection from the comfort of your home. During this tour, we’ll discuss new research into the lives of the women who lived and worked in the home, and the stark contrasts between their lives as mothers, daughters and enslaved laborers.
