Learn basic dye techniques and other simple and unique ways to paint and dye fabrics.
Supplies: Old cotton pillowcase or T shirt (white or bright solid colored strongly encouraged). Rite fabric dye. Rite dye fixative. 8 quart plastic or stainless steel container. 7 to 9 inch embroidery hoop. Fabric, printing, or acrylic paint. 160 mesh count silk screen. Rubber bands. 4 to 6 thumb tacks. Mod podge. Black Sharpie. Paint brushes. 16x16” sturdy card board or ¼” plywood. 4 to 6 binder clips. Scissors. Hot glue gun. Glue gun glue sticks. 8 to 10 bottle caps, bottle corks or medium to large river stones. Paper and pencil for sketching.
