Join Media Power Youth in a discussion of the documentary film, Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience. While this film was produced prior to the pandemic, it uniquely addresses the intersection of social media use, screen time, and youth mental health.
You'll have the opportunity to meet the filmmaker, Dr. Delaney Ruston. As a primary-care physician, she examines the science behind teens' emotional challenges and what can be done in our schools and homes to help young people build the skills needed to navigate stress, anxiety, and depression in our digital age.
Attendees are invited to submit questions for Dr. Ruston when registering.
The film is available to watch free on-demand in advance. Visit mediapoweryouth.org/events for more details on how to access the film. For questions about this event or other Media Power Youth programs, please contact Heather Inyart, Excutive Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
