Naturalist and marine educator John “Crawfish” Crawford has been exploring in Georgia’s coastal habitats since he was a child. Join him for a virtual exploration of Georgia’s dynamic coastal habitats that you can find on our barrier islands and your own backyard! Brew your own yaupon holly tea at home and settle in for a fun morning adventure featuring photos and stories. We hope you will be inspired to head outdoors after the program to explore; whether you are using a flashlight at night to look for wolf spiders in your backyard, searching for sow bugs or taking your own socially distant maritime forest hike.
Tune in every Tuesday at 11 a.m. for classes on different topics. For a schedule of upcoming classes visit our website gacoast.uga.edu.
