Join Peter and Daniel in a four-part series where they attempt to grok and respond to “The Practice Problem.”
What is The Practice Problem?
“The Practice Problem” is the tendency people have to practice something they sense is not wise to practice (a “bad habit”), not practicing something they sense is wise to practice, and/or not having a good sense of what is wise to practice.” (Peter)
“The Practice Problem” is the present-day inability to consciously transform ourselves for the betterment of the whole. Moderns suffer from the demands of life without a clear direction of how to practice living. Moreover we are faced with true existential risks that depend on our collective transformation." (Daniel)
In this series we will explore the practice problem through a theoretical lens, explore the problem with various guests, and engage in an accountability system to practice what is most important together.
If you are interested in attending the Beyond Self-Discipline (https://maven.com/thewisdomgym/beyond-self-discipline) September cohort, this series will serve as a teaser and build-up to the course.
***NOTE*** Please ignore the confusing "Please choose only one meeting to attend" message below. Zoom automates that for some reason. You can attend all the sessions, either by RSVPing to each session, or by RSVPing to one and saving the link. Each session uses the same link.
