Climate Action Q&A Surgery: The Circular Economy
Moving beyond the widely adopted linear model of production-consumption-disposal, a circular economy aims to decouple economic activity from the consumption of finite resources and design waste out of the system. The circular model is based on three principles:

- Design out waste and pollution
- Keep products and materials in use
- Regenerate natural systems

In this session we will be engaging in a conversation that will explore: the basic principles of the circular economy; how companies can integrate these principles into their own operations and influence their entire value chain; the role of the circular economy in meeting science-based targets and other environmental targets; and more.

Expert Speakers:

- Nick Brown, Sustainable Packaging Director at Coca-Cola European Partners.
- Soukeyna Gueye, Programme Manager at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
